Dr. Matthew Hahn, MD and Dr. Marilyn Nelson, MD	The mission of Hahn & Nelson Family Medicine is to provide compassionate, highest quality medical care in an efficient and professional manner. Matthew Hahn, M.D. received his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1997, and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the York Hospital (PA) in 2000. He has practiced in the Hancock area since 2000, and lives with his family in Berkeley Springs. Dr. Hahn enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but has a special place in his heart for geriatric care. Dr. Hahn believes strongly in the value of a healthy lifestyle, and has organized and participated in many health promotion activities in the area. He has received multiple awards for his work, including the 2006 Maryland Family Physician of the Year, and he was a Finalist for the 2007 American Family Physician of the Year. Dr. Hahn's interests include fly fishing, fitness activities, performing country music, and hog calling. Marilyn Nelson, M.D. practiced medicine in Vermont from 1981 until relocating to western Maryland in 2007 to be more centrally located to her children, who now live in many different locations. "I am excited about the opportunity to practice quality health care in a smaller, more intimate setting.
